someone pass me my self-medication

i feel a dull ache in my hips and i liken it to my yearning for you with the flexion of my thighs and the rotation of my shoulders, i cant seem to always be turning to face you it hurts. i'm hurting everywhere, it hurts to be near you and it hurts to be away [and yet i still prefer it] it's an ache, unaccompanied by the sickness of remembering your smile

I should have known (Alan One-shot) (MPhlox)

I should have seen it after each late night you knocked on my door through each smile you managed to crack every time my gaze lingered through the thick glass of those empty bottles in the ashes of those cigarettes but all I saw was you laugh it all off though I didn’t know at the time I should have seen it I looked at you enough You always seemed to have things under control I couldn’t see past the precise perfection of your one-man masquerade Excuse me while I figure this out How could I pay so much attention but miss the pain you felt? Where was I? Why didn’t I try hard enough to be by your side? The pain tears me up ins

Sparks will fly, under the moon lit sky And we'll use that light To brighten our path And together, we reach our abode, at last In our room, we sit by the fire And, feel the flames as our hearts will perspire. We'll blanket together, in th

As I Watched Her Walk

As I watched her walk Like a swan swims, I began to wonder if Any of it were real. I mean, her limbs moved so Flawlessly, Her face changed so Readily Into a smile, Her body enough to lure A unicorn from Imagination's shadows. As I watched her walk, I noticed she was set apart From all the rest. She was sacred, and she was Waiting. But here I was, Damned to eternal wanderlust, And I could no more reach her Than I could stretch across The widening chasm between Here and There. As I watched her walk, I yearned, And she turned her head - Our eyes met. I dissipated into bliss actualised: I was free for the first time.
